With the new version 3.02 of the CANopen module, IXXAT offers a revised and considerably extended version of its proven CANopen extension for the canAnalyser.

The CANopen module is an extension for the canAnalyser 2.7, enabling the display of received layer-2 messages according to the CANopen notation. At this, received messages are analyzed according to the communication objects defined in the CANopen protocol and assigned to the nodes. The message content is extracted and displayed in plain text.

Version 2.6.0.2035 or higher to
version 2.7.0.2360

All canAnalyser users can now update their canAnalyser or canAnalyser-lite version 2.6.0.2035 or higher to the latest version free of charge. The update is provided as patch file and fixes some known bugs of the release versions 2.6.0.2035 and 2.6.0.2135 and extends the functionality by a CAN bit rate calculator, enabling the calculation of the bit time parameters for the desired bit rate.

IXXAT provides on it’s webpage a free patch file for the canAnalyser, canAnalyser-lite and MultibusAnalyser, enabling the customers to update their software to the latest version 2.6. The patch file requires an installed version 2.5.14.1488 of the software.

The new version 2.6 now also supports Windows Vista and comes with a .NET API according to the latest 2.0 standard. In addition, the new graphic module, which is included in the canAnalyser patch file, was revised and extended (not content of the canAnalyser-lite and MultibusAnalyser patch file).

As an addition to the canAnalyser, the J1939 Module enables the display of received messages according to the SAE J1939 notation. Received messages are analyzed according to the type of message and displayed as plain text. By means of powerful filters the data to be displayed can be specifically selected. The module is therefore suitable for developers of J1939 devices as well as for troubleshooting and analysis of J1939 networks and systems.
