IXXAT’s Automotive Test Platform (ATP) enables the fast integration of customer specific applications into automotive communication systems, without having own hardware or comprehensive knowledge of automotive bus systems.

The Automotive Test Platform is based on a dual processor concept, which is a
decisive advantage of this solution. The controller, which is responsible for the fieldbusses, is already pre-configured and provides all functions, necessary for communication, to the application processor via a simple API.

Besides our comprehensive company webpage in German and English language, we created a new internet platform for international customers which was launched in mid-June.

The new, multilingual technology pages provide an overview of the IXXAT product range in English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Swedish and Japanese language.

This enables visitors to get a brief description of the desired product in their mother language, with the possibility to switch to a detailed product description in English language.

IXXAT will present it’s new universal Embedded Platform on the Embedded World fair in Nuremberg. This platform is intended for customers who like to start the development of specific application software for the automotive area fast, but do not have the target hardware available.

The hardware supports a temperature range between -20 °C and +70 °C, is based on a powerful ARM9 microcontroller and provides many interfaces for the connection to all important automotive bus systems. Available interfaces are among others: FlexRay, 4 x CAN, 2 x LIN and K-Line. In addition, further RS-232 interfaces for the connection of external peripheral devices are available, as well as digital and analog I/Os.
The chosen hardware architecture provides a high data throughput for all interfaces without claiming to much microcontroller computing time. Time stamps with an accuracy of 1 µs can be assigned to the messages on all automotive bus system interfaces. This also applies for the analog and digital I/Os.

IXXAT will present its CAN and FlexRay products on the testing expo from Mai 6. to 9., 2008. A special highlight in 2008 is the residual bus simulation for FlexRay and CAN systems, based on the MultibusAnalyser and the FlexRay CCM.
