IXXAT is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new version 5.0 of the CANopen Master API.New functionality includes support for multiple independent CAN channels on the iPC-I XC16/PCI, tinCAN161, and USB-to-CAN II CAN interface modules and full LSS master functionality according to CiA 305 CANopen Layer Setting Services and Protocols. Also supported is the Flying Master mechanism as specified in CiA 302. Example applications that now are also available for Microsoft C# and the .Net Framework reduce the required training effort and accelerate the overall development process.
