| Description |
The VCI V3 (Virtual CAN Interface) can be used for the development of customer specific applications and to run the IXXAT tools. For the development of customer specific applications a .Net and a C-API is provided. Furthermore the integration into LabView is supported.
Currently the VCI CAN driver for Windows supports the following IXXAT interfaces:
- PC-I 04/104
- iPC-I 320/104
- PC-I 04/PCI
- iPC-I 320/PCI
- iPC-I 320/PCI II
- iPC-I 165/PCI
- iPC-I XC16/PCI
- iPC-I XC16/PMC
- iPC-I XC16/PCIe
- tinCANv4
- tinCAN 161
- USB-to-CAN compact
- USB-to-CAN II
Please note:
- The current version of the driver does not support the CAN@net II and the CANblue. The support for this interfaces is planned soon. The canAnalyser version 2.5 or newer can be used in combination with the VCI V3.1.
- Please follow the instructions in the VCI V3 installation manual by updating from version 2.x to version 3.x.
- The VCI V3 and the VCI V2 programming interface do differ.
