For the fast introduction of the IEEE 1588 technology evaluation kits based on the Freescale and AMCC PowerPC CPUs are available. The evaluation kits are offered directly by the respective producers.
For the evaluation kits, IXXAT offers demo versions of it's protocol stack for download with the complete functionality.
In addition, with the Linux Live CD IXXAT offers a demo version of the IEEE 1588 protocol stack for the PC, which can be started directly from the CD without the need for installation.
