| Module for Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Powerlink, EtherCAT and Sercos III |
With the "Industrial Ethernet Module" from IXXAT devices can quickly and cost-efficiently be adapted to various Industrial Ethernet technologies.
The module is based on an FPGA from Altera and besides an integrated 32-bit CPU and an Ethernet Controller it comprises also the PHYs and the RJ45 jacks. Depending on the implemented Industrial Ethernet protocol, the Ethernet interface is either single routed (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP) or double routed (Powerlink, EtherCAT).
Using the included programming interface to the Host-CPU (Host-API in C sourcecode) the customer can connect his device easily using SPI or a standardized µC-Interface. The Host-API encapsulates the functions of the real-time industrial Ethernet protocol running on the module thus the application can be developed independent of the underlying network. In addition, protocol specific features can also be used by the application.
With the also available evaluation kit, the Industrial Ethernet Module can be directly connected to the processor module of Phytec (phyCORE-XC161). This solution is therefore ideal for rapid prototyping.

IXXAT's Automotive Test Platform (ATP) enables the fast integration of customer specific applications into automotive communication systems, without having own hardware or comprehensive knowledge of automotive bus systems.
The Automotive Test Platform is based on a dual processor concept, which is a decisive advantage of this solution. The controller, which is responsible for the fieldbusses, is already pre-configured and provides all functions, necessary for communication, to the application processor via a simple API. The application processor of the ATP is a powerful 520 MHz XScale processor. Since Windows CE is used as operating system, Microsoft Visual Studio can be used as comfortable development environment. Thus, own applications can be developed and tested on the PC using C, C++ or C#, and then executed independent on the ATP.
The universal fields of use can be even more extended by using the optional high-resolution touch screen and the also available measurement and diagnosis protocols.
