IEEE 1588 PTP Protocol Software - V2 The IEEE1588 protocol software enables simple, rapid development of IEEE1588 compliant devices. Developed by IXXAT, the IEEE1588 protocol software has a modular structure, insuring fast integration into the target system. For access to the UDP/IP socket, the interfaces to the target platform are compiled in a separate adaptation layer (network interface), considerably simplifying porting to the target system.
Powerlink Managing Node functionality available as FPGA IP By using IXXATs Powerlink FPGA IP Core, the Powerlink Managing Node (MN) functionality can be implemented rapidly and cost effective into any kind of host system. The MN IP Core combines the Powerlink functionality and can be implemented, as hardware and software functional unit, into any target system without any risk and with guaranteed performance.
PROFINET Protocol Software With the PROFINET Development Kit IXXAT enables simple implementation of PROFINET IO devices according to the PROFINET standard including real-time (RT) operation support. PROFINET RT uses the possibility of prioritization and optimization of the protocol stack to enable high-performance data transmission with standard components of automation technology. On request, IXXAT also offers implementation of PROFINET in customer-specific devices.
iPC-I XC16/PCIe Intelligent CAN interface for PCI express bus systems The iPC-I XC16/PCIe represents a very powerful and economic solution for an active CAN board with two CAN channels, covering a wide range of industrial and automotive CAN applications. In combination with the CAN driver (VCI, part of delivery) the iPC-I XC16/PCIe allows an easy integration of PC supported CAN applications. In addition the iPC-I XC16/PCIe is well suited for use with the IXXAT analysis and configuration tools.
Industrial Ethernet Module for ETHERNET Powerlink, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET The "Industrial Ethernet Module" from IXXAT enables fast, low-cost connection of devices to ETHERNET Powerlink, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET. The module is based on an Altera-FPGA and contains the CPU (NIOS II), an Ethernet Controller and an integrated 2-port hub, which is routed out via an RJ45 connector. Depending on the version, the relevant protocol software for the implementation of an ETHERNET Powerlink controlled node, a PROFINET device or an EtherNet/IP adapters is already implemented on the module.
CANopen Device Manager The CANopen Device Manager is a versatile and upgradeable tool aimed at device test, diagnostics and field service tasks. Build around a central component that manages the CANopen services and also serves as the primary entry point for network definition, the CANopen Device Manager covers functionality like NMT node and error control, SDO client, PDO producer and consumer, SYNC and time stamp producer, concise DCF download and firmware download according to CiA 302 and LSS master according to CiA 305.
CANcheck The new CANcheck allows a simple test of CAN networks during start-up, troubleshooting and maintenance. The battery-operated hand-held device is connected to the CAN network to be tested and operated via a cursor keys and a graphic LCD display. The scope of supply includes all tests that are important for testing and commissioning CAN systems, such as a wiring test when the network is switched off and an operational test when the network is in operation, a test of the resistances between all pins of the CAN connector, a terminal resistance test and measurement of the signal level. In addition, the cable length, the baud rate and the bus load of a system can be determined. All identifiers transmitted in a system can be scanned and displayed. It is also possible to display the error frames received per time unit.
Powerlink interface board V2 for PCI systems The Powerlink interface board from IXXAT can be operated as Managing Node (MN) and as Controlled Node (CN) and it enables the simple implementation of real-time-compatible PC-based SPS applications for Powerlink among other things. It also serves as a platform for PC-based analysis and test systems. The FPGA based implementation of the Powerlink PCI board ensures response times in the range of the Ethernet interframe gap, independent of the number of network nodes. The synchronization by the start of cycle frames is done with a jitter of less than 50 ns. Therefore it is possible to operate systems with cycle times of 200 µs or with up to 240 Controlled Nodes. The Powerlink functionality is completely implemented on the board and the payload is supplied to the PC application (e.g. Microsoft Windows) via a process image. The support of RTX, VxWorks or other operating systems is also possible.
CAN@net II The new CAN@net II is a universal CAN/Ethernet gateway that covers various applications. The standard variant CANnet II/VCI enables connection of CAN networks to Windows PCs via Ethernet. The customer’s application is connected to the CAN@net II via the VCI (Virtual CAN Interface) driver library included in the scope of supply. With the CAN@net II/Generic it is possible to connect CAN systems to any host platforms. Communication with the CAN@net II via TCP/IP is possible with a simple protocol, which also makes it possible to connect systems without CAN such as PDAs, industrial PCs or embedded platforms with CAN. A special application for the CAN@net II/Generic is the use as a transparent bridge between 2 CAN systems.
iPC-I XC16/PCI Intelligent CAN interface for 5 V and 3.3 V PCI bus systems with optional Low Speed bus interface The iPC-I XC16/PCI represents a very powerful and economic solution for an active CAN board with two CAN channels, covering a wide range of industrial and automotive CAN applications. In combination with the CAN driver (VCI, part of delivery) the iPC-I XC16/PCI allows an easy integration of PC supported CAN applications. In addition the iPC-I XC16/PCI is well suited for use with the IXXAT analysis and configuration tools, as well as for use as a CANopen network controller.
CANblue/Generic Besides the PC interface version of the CANblue, IXXAT now offers the CANblue in a new version. The new CANblue/Generic has an open programming interface. This makes it particularly attractive for customer-specific service and control applications that want to access the CANblue by means of PDAs or via embedded systems. Furthermore, using two CANblue/Generic, a CAN-Bluetooth-CAN bridge can be implemented. This bridge enables the exchange of CAN messages between two CAN systems via Bluetooth.
CANmodem is an intelligent gateway that allows remote access to CANopen systems via a conventional analog modem. PC-based service and monitoring programs can simply access the CANmodem by means of API via a telephone dial-up connection.
SAE J1939 Software Package for the Development of J1939 Devices The SAE J1939 protocol software enables a simple, fast development of SAE J1939 devices. All communication mechanisms defined in the SAE J1939 specification are available (except for the bridge functionality), so that the developer can concentrate fully on his or her application. The software is available for different microcontrollers and CAN controllers.
