Main topics in the area of the industrial communication are solutions based on CAN (Controller Area Network), CANopen and DeviceNet as well as the industrial real-time Ethernet protocols POWERLINK, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, sercos, Modbus-TCP and IEEE 1588. For applications in the automotive area solutions based on FlexRay, LIN, CAN and SAE J1939 are offered.

Interface Boards for the PC

Our interface boards for CAN, FlexRay, LIN and POWERLINK are used for machine control, medical, diagnosis and service applications as well as for the development and test of transportation systems and motor vehicles.
The IXXAT interface boards support all current PC standards, like PCI, PCIe, USB, Ethernet and Bluetooth. All boards are delivered with a common programming interface for Windows (VCI driver) as well as for INtime, RTX and Linux (ECI driver).

Topology Components

Gateways, bridges and repeaters are widely used network infrastructure components. The increasing complexity and distribution of systems within the industrial and automotive area leads to an increasing demand for such devices. For CAN based systems, IXXAT offers a wide range of products, including bridges, gateways and repeaters with different form factors and designs.

I/O Modules

Our I/O modules allow the easy integration of analog and digital input and output signals to CAN and CANopen systems. At this, we offer independent external devices and modules for integration into customer devices.

Protocol Software

Our protocol stacks for CANopen, DeviceNet, POWERLINK, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, Modbus-TCP, IEEE 1588 and SAE J1939 enable the easy and fast connection of customer specific devices to networks using this technologies. With our protocol stacks we provide the technological basis for our products as well as for the products of our customers.

Analyzing, Configuration and Diagnosis Tools

Selected communication standards are supported by IXXAT with a complete tool chain, including analysis, configuration, service and diagnosis tools. We support our customers from the development up to commissioning and service of their communication systems.

Customer Specific Adaptation of Standard Products

On request, we adapt our standard hardware and software products to specific customer requirements. This includes the adaptation of IXXAT tools to fit customer needs as well as the enhancement and adaptation of PC interfaces and other hardware products.
