IXXAT offers protocol stacks enabling the fast and easy development of DeviceNet devices as well as tools and drivers for testing and analyzing DeviceNet devices and networks.

Interface Boards, Diagnosis Tools and Topology Components

The IXXAT interface boards, diagnosis tools and topology components can be used for CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet and SAE J1939 systems. An overview of the products can be found under the menu entry "CAN".

DeviceNet Protocol Software

DeviceNet Slave Protocol Software

The DeviceNet protocol software enables the fast and easy development of DeviceNet devices. The software contains all necessary functions for the development of a DeviceNet slave in accordance with the latest ODVA specification.

DeviceNet Master Library

The DeviceNet Master Library facilitates the development of DeviceNet Master and I/O Scanner devices used in industrial controls for DeviceNet. The modular structure of the protocol software allows an optimum implementation into the target system. The DeviceNet Master Library is a software package offered by IXXAT as a Value Added Design Partner (VADP) of Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation.

Tools

DeviceNet Module

With the DeviceNet module as an extension for the canAnalyser, the developer gets a powerful tool for recording, interpretation and analyzing DeviceNet messages of his DeviceNet system. The module displays the received DeviceNet messages according to Message Group, MAC ID and Message ID.

ODVA DeviceNet Conformance Test Driver

The driver allows to use the IXXAT CAN interfaces with the ODVA DeviceNet Protocol Conformance Test Software.

Services

DeviceNet Code Introduction

Detailed DeviceNet source code introduction for one or two days. Interfaces, processes and data flows are explained in detail. In addition, questions regarding the customer application can be answered and an initial adaptation of the stack to the customer application can be made.

Technical Consultation and Development Services

Support for the specification of the DeviceNet system or device to be implemented. Customers can benefit from the IXXAT DeviceNet know-how, which leads to shorter development cycles. Furthermore, IXXAT can perform the adaptation, implementation as well as the test of the DeviceNet stack in combination with the customer's hardware or application.

DeviceNet Training

IXXAT offers a two day training for DeviceNet which can be performed as in-house seminar at customer site.
